Gayathri Venkataraghavan
Founder & Director - Gāna Vinyāsa
Gayathri Venkataraghavan is a renowned Carnatic Musician, who has been performing across the globe. She has been actively involved in spreading knowledge with the passion to spread Carnatic Music and its beauty. She strongly believes that this music can calm, relax, inspire and make students and listeners creative and sharper in many aspects of life.
Gāna Vinyāsa is her brain child, she and the team behind GV’s School have curated a syllabus that will be intensive, intuitive and innovative. The faculty comprises of her students who are ready to take forward this dream.
GV and her team will curate the content and will be actively involved in preparing the faculty for the sessions. GV will conduct regular monitoring at both the primary and intermediary levels, along with consistent interactions with students to assess their progress.

Maithrayee Badrinarayanan
Maithrayee Badrinarayanan hails from a family steeped in musical and spiritual tradition. Maithrayee is a distinguished musician and educator, holding a Master’s degree in Music and has served as an esteemed Adjunct Lecturer at SASTRA University.
With a rich performance career, she has performed in some of the prestigious stages, including the celebrated Sastra Satsangh and Shanmukhananda Sabha in Mumbai, captivating audiences with her depth, devotion, and artistry.
She is also a highly respected accompanist for Sangeetha Upanyasams, frequently performing alongside the acclaimed Smt. Prabha Senesh. Her deep-rooted training in Divya Prabandhams and Pasuram singing adds a spiritual and scholarly dimension to her musical repertoire.
As a passionate teacher and mentor, Smt. Maithrayee brings her infectious love for classical music into every lesson. She is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of artists—instilling in her students not just technical excellence, but also a profound appreciation for the great composers and the cultural richness of the art form.
Uma Ranganathan is an Indian classical vocalist and educator whose journey in music began at the age of five. Deeply rooted in tradition and yet innovative in mind she has put in years of Sadana into her music with sincerity.
Uma has performed at prestigious venues such as the UK Parliament, India Habitat Centre, and the Margazhi Season in Chennai. She is also the founder of the Art to Heart Institute, a platform in Europe that fosters artistic development and wellness through concerts, workshops, and interdisciplinary projects.
She performs regularly in prestigious venues of India and the famous music season in Chennai, where she was also awarded the Best concert Award by Hamsadwani in 2024.Alongside over seven years of teaching experience and certification in music therapy, Uma is passionate about the role of music in education and mental health. She brings this same commitment to her work in the energy sector, where she leads strategy and early-phase business development.

Uma Ranganathan

Vasudha Srinivasan is a devoted Carnatic music teacher and performer. Music to her is more than an art form ,it is the language of her soul, a source of strength, serenity, and connection.
She holds a Master’s degree in Music from Mother Teresa Women’s University.She was awarded the Best Student Award in Theory and Practical by the Music Academy Teachers’ Training in 2000 by the Madras Music Academy.
She has also received voice culture training under Smt. S.A.K. Durga, exploring techniques that enhance vocal clarity and depth. She is a YouTuber who shares her experiences and has composed several songs.
Vasudha Srinivasan
Pooja Udupa belongs to Karnataka. She is a dedicated and sincere musician, with very deep rooted values in our culture and mythology, which is reflected in her music. She has a masters in music to her credit. This passion of hers was recognized by The Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy who awarded her a Scholarship for carnatic music vocal Junior category in the year 2003-04.
Her graduation In Alva's college Moodabidri, Mangalore University, Manglore under the cultural adoption for excellence in music is another feather in her cap.She has won a number of awards including Sri Krishnanugraha Prashasti' by Paryaya Puttige mutt, Sri Krishna Mutt Udupi.
She has Participated as Kavyavachana Prucchakha for the famous Ashtavadhana programme by Shatavadhani Dr. R Ganesh, Ashtavadhani Ramakrishna Pejattaya and Ashtavadhani Subramanya Bhat.She has sung concerts in and around Udupi and Mangolore district, Shivamogga and Chikkamagalore district.
With more than 13 years of teaching experience in the field of Carnatic Music, she brings in a rich cultural and traditional approach to her teaching.

Pooja Udupa

Sri Vani
Sri Vani Vangala Nikhileswari is a passionate Carnatic vocalist with over a decade of rigorous training, committed to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Indian classical music.
Sri Vani holds a Master’s degree in Carnatic Music from Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam University, along with a Diploma in Music from Sri Thyagaraja College of Music and Dance, Hyderabad, a Grade II certification in Piano from Trinity College London and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Osmania University.
As a Lecturer in Carnatic Vocal at Durgabai Deshmukh Mahila Sabha, College of Fine Arts and Media Education (2022–2025), she has taught both practical and theoretical subjects, mentored students in performance skills, and organized concerts to enhance stage exposure.
Her performance journey includes being a Graded Artist of All India Radio and regular appearances in events such as Nadaneerajanam by TTD and Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva at Tirupati. She has won a number of music competitions. Deeply rooted in tradition yet adaptive in approach, she remains devoted to the music that has always inspired her.
Sanjana Raman has actively participated in competitions, notably The Times Tyagaraja competition, Shri Purandharadhasar Trust vocal music competition in which she secured the first prize, and has consecutively won first prizes in many competitions .
She has also participated in Tiruppavai recitals and competitions.
She has given performances in temples and associations.She has completed her Grade 8 certificate programme in vocal from Annamalai University.
She is post graduate in strategic Digial Marketing. Her lovely voice, sincerity and affectionate nature are her assets.

Sanjana Raman

Aliza Krishna is a Russian singer-songwriter, carnatic vocalist, Gayathri Venkataraghavan's student since 2014, founder of music project "Chast Okeana" (Part of the Ocean) and project of Indian classical fusion music "Swaratmika".
She sings and composes songs in Russian. She is trained in yoga and meditation.
In 2014 her spiritual Guru blessed her to find a music Guru in Chennai, to learn Carnatic music, where she met GV, who happily started to guide Aliza in this beautiful music journey.She is now ready to teach the fundamental lessons of vocal Carnatic music, particularly in Russia/Europe, where she will be able to share the richness of this music tradition with ease.
